Dakota Fanning Lands in LA, Talks “New Moon”

Finished up with a short promotional trip to New York City, Dakota Fanning was spotted arriving back home at LAX Airport on Tuesday (February 3).

The 14-year-old actress was in the Big Apple as she promoted her soon-to-be released movie “Push” - which hits theaters this Friday (February 6).

Aside from “Push,” Dakota also spoke about her possible role in the “Twilight” sequel “New Moon.”

Talking about the book series, Dakota tells, “I haven’t read all four yet. I’m working on it. Getting there. I’m just about to finish the first one.”

Of her possible character, Miss Fanning said, “The character is what I would be excited about. It’s kind of evil, something I’ve never done before, and it’s a vampire,” she said. “You know, it’s really cool, so I really hope it works out.”

Telling of fan’s excitement over her possible inclusion in the film, Dakota adds, “I know that Twilight is so sacred to some people, and I know that when people cast certain people, people have their opinions and that’s their right. That’s very flattering that they think I’d be right for the part.”
